I'm gonna take Haysi by 2 td's.
It's that time of the year again. I'm psyched as hell as I'm sure a lot of you are. Are there any thoughts out there on the haysi/honaker match up?
Haysi- Strong team. Not only is our quarterback throwing well this year but we also have, as one of my friends puts it, the trifecta with a really good running back, really good full back, and a really good wide reciever. It's been a while since haysi can honestly say we've had three great people in these positions. If the offensive line blocks and our secondary doesn't screw up I can see us running away with the ballgame.
Honaker- From what I can tell they are very on and off this year but you can probably expect them to be on at honaker. If they are off then it will be a blowout.
Overall- Playing at Honaker is tough and we've not been able to grab a W at their place since before Heath Miller was playing. This game as always could go either way, especially if the red tigers don't show up to play ball like two years ago (Tyler Patrick single handedly handed our asses to us). But i'm going to make a prediction based upon the assumption that both teams will be on their game.

good game to the red tigers .the boys in orange just left to many openings at the end .this should pretty much clinch the bdd.whats ye thoughts on that?i was kindly suprised we stayed close as we did.

It doesn't surprise me the score was that close. I knew we COULD win by a few but it's always a tough game between haysi and honaker especially AT honaker.
The refs were terrible last night. I think honaker didn't get a single penalty even though they are the dirtiest team in the region.

I'll tell you what I base calling them dirty on...four years of playing them hahaha. I played a lot of teams in high school and Honaker was by far the dirtiest
And by the way In every game that I started against honaker on varsity we won.
2000- didn't start as freshman, honaker wins
2001- Started and beat honaker
2002- Out for injury, honaker wins
2003- Started, Beat Honaker 6-0 at home
So actually I've never had my ass handed to me by honaker. I'm just saying they are dirty. I always wish them luck against any lpd school except Clintwood but when I say honaker is dirty I mean they are f'in dirty as hell and get away with it. Take that as a compliment
